Free Online Sessions

P&A Software also run a number of online taster sessions for both Personnel Manager and Personnel Director users. These are designed to provide users with an insight into selected areas of the functionality offered by the system. Each session focuses on a particular topic and generally last around 20 minutes. The sessions are run monthly and all users are invited to attend (free of charge). Please contact us if you would like to receive invitations to any of the following sessions:

Manage the recruitment process
Record applicant details and attach CVs; check right-to-work status; contact referees; schedule interviews and record results; send out interview invitations and produce information for recruiters; create employment contracts and job offers

Managing employee appraisals
Ensure appraisals are scheduled; generate appraisal forms direct from the system; ensure appraisals take place and forms are completed; attach completed forms to employee records; link actions agreed in appraisals to KPIs; record personal development plans.

Monitoring key dates
Managing key dates and setting reminders; producing an action-list; checking for the expiry of visas, of probationary periods, of important training and qualifications; following up disciplinary incidents; scheduling return to work interviews.

The pay review process
Managing pay and benefits together; looking at total remuneration; producing information for pay reviews; historical analysis of pay awards; generating pay-change letters; producing pay related reports

Producing management reports
Building up a suite of monthly or quarterly management reports; preparing data for reports; distributing reports to management; providing manages with access to ad-hoc reports; using MS Excel for reporting

Absence allowance reconciliation
Unused holiday approaching the end of the year; generating next year's holiday allowances; managing the carry-over of holiday entitlement; informing employees and managers; using employee self-service.

Managing training needs
Historical training analysis; generating training plans from training needs identified during appraisals; looking at career planning; one-off training activities; using CPD/CPE functionality. Receive information about People Inc.
