Employee
Self Service allows employees to access and
update their own personnel records and make requests
on-line. Use of this module means that much of the
routine administrative tasks are devolved to employees
themselves. They can check their holiday entitlement,
request time off and have it authorised in a matter of
seconds. These requests can be authorised by a manager or
supervisor and the employee immediately notified by email.
Once authorised, the employee’s details are automatically
amended and Personnel Director updated. Employee self
service has the benefit of eliminating the paper trail,
speeding up response time to common queries, improving
employees’ performance and increasing efficiency.

The same high level of security as
Personnel Director is maintained with administrators deciding what
users and employees are allowed to view. Employees can only make
requests, and it is only when the request is authorised that the
database is updated. As with Personnel Director, any changes made to
screens or fields with the screen designer are carried through to
the Employee Self Service Module giving a completely customisable
